Nestled in the heart of Southern California, Temecula Wine Country is renowned for its picturesque vineyards, rolling hills, and award-winning wineries. It’s no wonder that couples seeking a romantic and enchanting wedding backdrop choose Temecula for their special day. We were so excited when we got asked to capture Emma and Steven’s wedding day at Avensole Winery. We are currently based in Utah, but grew up around Temecula, so it was fun to go back and shoot a wedding in our hometown.
The wedding day was absolutely perfect. It was late September, but the sun was out making it very comfortable as a light breeze filled the autumn air. We started out by capturing Steven and Emma individually as they got ready with their bridal party for their special day. In a moment of readiness, they exchanged a heartfelt first look amid the picturesque vineyards. As their eyes met for the first time, emotions overflowed, leaving not a single dry eye in the room. They proceeded to share intimate private vows, promising one another their love for each other.

The ceremony began, everyone eagerly waiting for the bride to descend, she finally peaked around the grapevines guided by her father, her veil blowing in the wind. Against the backdrop of the vineyard’s beauty, the couple stood hand in hand, ready to exchange vows that would bind them together. The officiant, with heartfelt words, guided them through the sacred promises of love and commitment. After exchanging rings, and saying “I do”, Emma and Steven sealed their promises with a kiss, officially becoming Mr. and Mrs. for the first time!
After capturing family photos, and bridal party shots, we took a few minutes to steal Steven and Emma away, to capture their first few pictures together as husband and wife. Amongst the picturesque setting of grapevines lined along the hillside, the long veil blowing in the wind and the cotton candy sunset we were greeted with – it was pure magic.
The reception unfolded within a beautifully adorned indoor space, where the ambiance was meticulously crafted with an abundance of florals and the warm flicker of tealight candles. The DJ, setting the tone for the evening, introduced the newlyweds, who seamlessly transitioned into their first dance. As the night progressed, heartfelt speeches and toasts were made. Laughter and music set the tone as everyone ended the night dancing away, marking the end of a day filled with love, laughter, and the promise of a beautiful journey ahead.
