When Ellie and Jaedon reached out, they described their dream elopement day. For them, they wanted something simple, preferably in an open meadow, in Flagstaff, Arizona. I quickly started researching and finding ideas and locations to help craft the perfect day. This is what we came up with.
On an early summer morning in July, we met just before sunrise at Buffalo park. Famous for its scenic mountain views, open grass meadows, and walking trails, this accessible 215 acre park was the ideal location. Arizona is notorious for their scorching summers, so they decided to beat the heat and have a sunrise elopement. They shared an intimate moment as they had their first look right as the sun was peeking up from behind the mountains – The sun illuminating Ellie’s blonde hair. They immersed themselves in the profound moment, exchanging warm hugs, tender kisses, and a few tears of joy. Once ready, we made our way to the ideal location where they would share their vows. The ambiance was intimate and personal, with only their officiating best friend and two witnesses present. As Ellie and Jaedon shared their heartfelt written vows, tears of happiness flowed down their faces. They were overjoyed and celebrating as their journey to become husband and wife was officially sealed with the happiest kiss.
They signed the marriage documents, and then we took a moment to capture those first joyous moments celebrating as newlyweds. They ran through the open meadows, and danced around catching the sunrays. They popped a bottle of sparkling cider and cut into their cake. Under the shade of a towering tree, Ellie and Jaedon ended their dreamy elopement with a first dance. Tall grasses swayed at their feet, as they held each other close, ready to start this new chapter together.
